Carlo drew arcs of Marvel's Deadpool series that launched in 2008, written by Daniel Way, during the years Deadpool grew into one of Marvel's most popular characters. One of Carlo's Deadpool images was later used on poster art for the 2016 Deadpool film.
The Series
Deadpool (2008) followed Wade Wilson, Marvel's unkillable, fourth-wall-breaking mercenary, through a long run written by Daniel Way.
Carlo's Run
Carlo shared art duties on the series with fellow Mexican artist Paco Medina, drawing arcs between 2008 and 2012. He also drew Deadpool: Suicide Kings (2009) and an issue of Deadpool Team-Up.
Beyond the Page
One of Carlo's Deadpool images became a fan favorite, was reproduced widely on merchandise, and was later used on poster art for the 2016 Deadpool film.
